Mythic Entertainment and EA have announced the first live expansion for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Among the new additions in the expansion are new careers including the Orc Choppa and the Dwarf Slayer.

A new dungeon called Land of the Dead is part of the expansion and it is set in the desert realm of the Tomb Kings. The expansion will be launched in March free of charge and will run through June.

The live in-game events will be held as well including a new realm vs. realm Scenario and a free game trial. A live event called Call to Arms: Beyond the Sands will be held in April and Call to Arms: Rise of the Tomb kings live event will happen in May. A new Land of the Dead realm will open in June.
