The guitar Hero franchise is very popular and new titles in the franchise are being introduced frequently. One of the best selling games last holiday season was Guitar Hero World Tour. Guitar Hero also has games specific to a certain band, the first of these was Guitar Hero Aerosmith.

Activision has announced the track list for Guitar Hero Metallica, it includes 45 tracks form Metallica, and 21 tracks for different bands. Tracks form each studio album that Metallica produced are included with popular tracks like The Unforgiving, Sad But True, and Wherever I May Roam among them.

When you finally tire of Metallica tracks like No Excuses form Alice in Chains, Turn the Page by bob Segar and Tuesdays Gone from Lynyrd Skynyrd are offered as well. The game will be available on the Xbox, Wii, PS2, and PS3 consoles. The game allows for vocals, guitar and drum play.
