Garmin is one of the top names in GPS devices for car navigation and has been for a long time. The company does make products that are not associated with GPS navigation though like the new FR60 Fitness Watch. The FR60 is available in women's and men's styles.
The watch interfaces with any ANT+ compatible fitness device like heart rate monitors, foot pods, and third party fitness equipment. The watch comes with a wireless USB ANT stick that plugs into a computer to automatically download data about the work out. In some bundles, you can get a foot pod and a heart rate monitor as well.
The watch can store up to 15 hours and 100 laps of detailed exercise information and is water resistant allowing it to track data from swimmers as well. The watch weighs 41 grams and has a user replaceable battery good for a year of use.
