Spyrus has announced its latest flash drive called the Hydra PC ViP that features on-board virus protection. Stored on the flash drive is the Hydra PC Sentry A-V antivirus scanning application capable of protecting Spyrus flash drives from infection.
The flash drive features automatic identification, detection, and protection against known and unknown threats from malware and viruses. Each file is scanned for a virus before it is encrypted on the flash drive.
After encryption a signature validation process detects if any new malware of viruses are present and blocks the file from infecting a network. The drive offers a full set of encryption protocols including 128-bit and 256-bit AES.
