Nikon Whips Out COOLPIX P90 Camera

Nikon has introduced several new point-and-shoot cameras this week, among them is the new Nikon P90. The P90 is a compact camera offering extended reach and wide-angle coverage. The lens has 24x zoom and covers a focal range from 26mm to 624mm.
The camera's sensor has 12.1-megapixels and ISO settings of up to ISO 6400. Sensor shift VR image stabilization is integrated to keep images sharp at ultra-high zoom levels. The rear LCD of the camera is 3-inches and can be tilted 90 degrees up and 45 degrees down.
The camera offers multiple shooting modes including Sport Continuous, Shutter Priority, aperture Priority, and Manual exposure modes and two user-defined settings. The continuous shooting modes can shoot 45 consecutive pictures at 15 frames per second. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time.
