The guessing on what secrets Apple is putting in OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard to make a big splash continues. As reported earlier Apple keeps the excitement up with not releasing a public beta of Snow Leopard. The official feature list of Snow Leopard is just talking about security and performance improvements.
Apple Insider reports now that they heard that the current pre-release of Snow Leopard includes the CoreLocation framework previously available via the iPhone SDK. The CoreLocation feature set would allow Macs to know where they are if they would have a GPS or Wi-fi based location input.
Apple Insider also confirms again that Apple will include the multi-touch framework in OS X Snow Leopard.
