Callpod announced a new iPhone app today called Keeper that allows you to store sensitive passwords, account numbers, and other data securely on the iPhone. The application is called Keeper and it protects your data with multiple layers of encryption and backs the data up on your PC rather than online.
The data is encrypted with 128-bit AES encryption that provides military grade protection. Features include the ability to import, export, and backup your data, share data between multiple iPhones and PCs, search, and self-destruct mode.
The application is available now on the App Store for $4.99 and is the number seven app in the utilities section. If you store sensitive data on your iPhone unencrypted you are asking for trouble, this could be just what you need.
