Samsung officially announced its latest handset called the S8300 Ultra Touch. The device has 3G connectivity and uses an 2.8-inch WQVGA AMOLED touch screen. Other features include an 8MP camera with LED flash that features face detection, smile detection, and GeoTagging.
The camera sensor supports Divx, XviD, H.263, H.264, WMV9, and MPEG4 video and can record video at 30 fps. The device also has an FM tuner with RDS, MP3 player, Bluetooth, A-GPS, and 80MB of internal memory.
Memory expansion is available via a microSD card slot. The phones body is very thin at 12.7mm and has a slide out keypad. The worst part about the fully featured phone is that it lacks a decent OS like Android or one of the other popular smartphone OS'. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time.
