Dell today announced the Latitude XT2 convertible tablet improving on the industry’s first tablet PC with multi-touch screen capabilities.
The new Dell Latitude XT2 features better performance, enhanced security and manageability than the previous generation.
Multi-touch capabilities on the Dell Latitude XT2 allow users to use natural gestures like a pinch or tap for scrolling, panning, rotating and zooming that work with productivity applications they use every day. Dell’s integration of multi-touch screen technology allows customers to use the full real estate of the display, as opposed to just the touchpad.
Other features of the XT2 include 11 hours battery life (nice!), Full-size keyboard, touchpad, point stick, battery-free pen, Intel Core 2 Duo SU9300, SATA HDD or SSD, and DDR3 RAM up to 5GB
The Latitude XT2 starts at $2,399 and is available today at the Dell site.
