Fisher-Price celebrates the 40th birthday of Sesame Street with the introduction of Elmo Tickle Hands.
The red and furry Elmo Tickle hands fit on kids' hands. When pushing Elmo's nose the Elmo glove gets activated. When touching something with the Elmo hand it will start to vibrate. The Elmo hand starts to talk in Elmo's voice and tells funny things.
When using the Elmo Tickle Hands for tickling, Elmo starts to laugh harder and harder.
The interactive Elmo gloves can do even more. When pushing Elmo's nose again the hands enter a dance mode.
Motion sensors inside the gloves can recognize dance moves. The Elmo hands guide kids through a new Elmo Dance.
Elmo Tickle Hands ship with a DVD that shows the new dance in more details.
Apparently there is no new Elmo animatronics joke telling doll coming in 2009. The toy makers see the big business this year in low cost toys, because of the recession.
The Elmo Tickle Hands will sell for $29.99 and will start shipping in August. Available now on Amazon.
