As rumored yesterday Vodafone and HTC introduced the HTC Magic Android smartphone aka Google G2 at the MWC 2009.
The HTC Magic is pretty basic featuring a 3.2 inch touchscreen with 320x480 HVGA resolution and running on a Qualcomm MSM7201a CPU 528MHz.
Other features of the HTC Magic include Bluetooth, WiFi, 3.2MP Camera, microSD card slot, G-Sensor, GPS and digital compass.
The T-Mobile G1 at least offers a QWERTY keyboard. The G2 is not better than the G1 it just offers a smaller size.
The measurements of the HTC Magic are 113 x 55 x 13.65 mm ( 4.45 x 2.17 x 0.54 inches) and the weight is 118.5 grams ( 4.18 ounces) with battery.
The HTC Magic Android phone is exclusive to Vodafone in the UK, Spain, Germany and France (SFR) and available on a non-exclusive basis in Italy. Full details of availability and pricing will be available in the future in local Vodafone markets.
