We reported in July under the headline "Japanese Consumers Surf Faster" that Yahoo Broadband in Japan offers 50Mbit/s downstream and 3Mbit/s upstream for $38/month.
Well now the guys over at SorobanGeeks actually subscribed to a fibre optic based service that gives them 100Mbit/s down- and 70Mbit/s upstream. And all that bandwidth for about $28/month. Sorobangeeks has photos from the VDSL modem that connects to the fibre optics cable.
