Pandigital has an interesting computer device that is intended to be used in the kitchen. The gadget is called the Pandigital Kitchen Technology Center and wraps four different devices into one package. The 15.6-inch screen doubles as a HDTV, wireless Internet device, digital photo frame, and a digital cookbook.
Recipes are via the Bon Appetit digital recipe collection. The screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio and the resolution is 720p. Contrast ratio for the device is 400:1 and no keyboard is needed for navigation thanks to PanTouch touch sensor technology.
Internal memory for the device is 1GB, enough for up to 3,000 images. A media card reader is built in that supports SD, USB, MS, and several more formats. Video is supported in AVI format along with audio files in MP3 format. Pricing for the device is $399, which isn’t bad considering all it offers.
