Last summer we got our first look at the Live Luggage suitcase. The thing that made the luggage interesting was that the case had its own motor and battery to help users get around with a full suitcase with less effort. The company has announced a new bag that will be coming to stores soon that has many of the same features in a smaller bag.

The new suitcase is called the Hybrid PA Series Bag and is a soft ballistic nylon case with a removable laptop bag and weekend luggage bags. The design allows the entire bag to be checked or parts to be removed for carryon. The handle design places 85% of the bags weight over the wheels and the motor uses flat technology to assist the wheels on gradients, curbs, and steps.

Other features include a Live Locator ID to help locate the bag if it's lost, umbrella storage and an umbrella is included, and the luggage is 100% recyclable. Live Locator will send the owner a text to tell where the bag is when it gets lost. Launch date for the bag is March 17th and it will sell for £195 including VAT.
