Under the partnership, a data protection solution using Seagate Momentus FDE hard drives and software from Mobile Armor will be offered.
The Seagate FDE hard drive automatically encrypts everything on the drive with AES encryption. The Mobile Armor software solution provides users and managers with full audit control over the notebook and allows managers to audit all laptops from a single unified policy and management console.
"Mobile Armor is pleased to augment our security platform previously validated by our largest-in-the-world implementation of centrally-managed encryption and enterprise key management with the Seagate(R) hardware security solutions," said Mobile Armor Chairman and CEO, Chand Vyas. "This collaboration marks a new generation of integrated solutions, where enterprises and government agencies can now manage and audit all their security from a single unified policy and management console which is device and platform agnostic."
