Apple launched the sexy new Safari 4 browser as beta last week and apparently clocked 11 million downloads in 4 days. Based on data from Net Applications, TG Daily analyzed the February browser market share together with the Safari 4 downloads and says that Apple now commands a 10% browser market share.
This is still miles away from Internet Explorer, but apparently Firefox is not gaining anymore as the new beta versions gobble up users.
After my initial impressions of Safari 4, I still find myself using it. I am actually now using IE8, Firefox 3.06 and Safari 4 at the same time. Every browser has its advantages. I am not sure yet where this will lead me.
