Always Innovating unveiled the Touch Book today, a new device that works as both a netbook and a tablet thanks to a detachable keyboard and a 3D touchscreen user interface. Always Innovating previewed the Touch Book at the DEMO 09 startup conference.
The Touch Book is the first netbook featuring an ARM processor from Texas Instruments, resulting in outstanding battery life, and a fan less, heat-and-noise-free system. Other interesting features of the Touch Book include internal USB ports to hide dongles, 1024x600 8.9'' screen, 8GB microSD Card, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, G-Sensor, 10-15h battery life, and Open Source OS.
The Touch Book was designed by Fred Bould and it looks like he did a great job. I am looking forward to getting the first hands-on reports to see if this new netbook concept lives up to its promises.

The Touch Book is expected to ship in late spring and will start at $299.
You can show your Early Adopter skills by pre-ordering the Touch Book now on the Always Innovating site. More hi-res photos of the Touch Book.
