Rocstor will be showing its line of value external storage solutions at CeBIT 2009 called the Rocstor line. The external solutions feature a 2.5-inch SATA drive and connect with up to 800 MB/sec transfer speeds to a laptop vie FireWire 800, Firewire 400, USB 2.0 or eSATA.
The housing the drive sits inside is designed to reduce shock transmitted to the drive when dropped or bumped against objects. Compatibility for the drives is with Mac, Linux, and Windows computers. Storage capacities available in the line range from 250GB to a 2TB single drive configuration, which is great for large files.
The larger capacity drives use 3.5-inch internal hard drives, are designed to be placed vertically or horizontally, and can be stacked to save space on the desktop. The 2TB version of the drive will be available in April and the drives measure about 8" x 5" x 1.5".
