Details announced that its Stella keyboard support tray has been redesigned and granted the Cradle-to-Cradle certification. The new certification proves that the cradle can be used and when it reaches the end of its functional life the product can be thrown away and is designed to be eco friendly and recycled.
The redesign also changes the keyboard support to provide more knee clearance and is three inches shallower in the neck area. A keyboard tray is an important part of an ergonomic workstation, helps reduce stress, and repetitive use injuries from long periods of data entry.
The support has an adjustment range of 3.5" above the track to 5" below the track. The support can also be adjusted to sit directly adjacent to the desktop to create a neutral reach environment. "Stella uses aircraft-quality components to maintain rigidity," says Ken Suttorp, Details product manager for the computer support tools category. "Plus, we've kept its patented knob-free adjustability, which our customers love. Overall, the redesign has made Stella slimmer, sturdier, and sustainable."
