NVIDIA released beta drivers for the Windows 7 beta OS for the GeForce GPU
Windows 7 will be the first Windows operating system to fully integrate and take advantage of the GPU for both graphics and parallel computing.
GeForce version 181.71 graphics drivers support the new Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) v1.1 from Microsoft.
These drivers offer increased performance and reliability in both 2D and 3D applications, including the 3D Windows Aero desktop.
If you are running Windows 7 beta right now then it definitely makes sense to get these new NVIDIA Windows 7 drivers to speed up the UI. The CUDA support will be very interesting as this will also be supported in Apple OS X Snow Leopard. Which OS will be better and which one will make more of this new processing source remains to be seen.
