Casio has unveiled new details on its new EX-FS10 and EX-FC100 digital cameras that were first seen at CES. Both of the new Exilim models offer super fast burst shooting rates that are enough to make my DSLR jealous.
Both of the cameras are capable of shooting bursts at 30 frames per second and high-speed movies at 1000 fps. The EX-FS10 is a very thin camera at 0.64-inches thick. The cameras can also take still pictures while viewing the movement of their subject in slow motion and the camera will automatically select and save one frame from continuous shots.
Casio says that the new cameras will both be available in April with the EX-FS10 selling for $349.99 with blue, gray, red, and white colors available. The EX-FC100 will sell for $349.99 and come in gray and white colors. It looks like the DSLR may not have as many benefits over the point-and-shoot camera with the newer models coming out.
