Panasonic Adds VHS Blu-ray Player to Line

Panasonic announced new additions to its 2009 line up including the world's first Blu-ray player and VHS combo. Panasonic says all of the new models offer reduced power consumption for greener operation as well. The new models include the DMP-BD60, DMP-BD80, and the DMP-BD70V.
All of the new players include Panasonics Vivera Cast offering access to Amazon VOD content and Viera Link to allow control of the player with one remote when used with other Panasonic components and TVs.
All three of the new players support Dolby TruHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and Dolby Digital Plus. In addition to playing 1080p Blu-ray films, the players also upconvert to 1080p on all formats. Other features of the new players include SD card slots, USB ports, and more.
