Motion Launches J3400 Tablet Computer

Motion computing has launched its new tablet computer called the J3400. The tablet computer is claimed to be as durable and rugged as a rugged laptop without adding weight and price. Features include a hot swappable dual battery feature and an integrated shoulder strap.
Storage for the machine is to a 1.8-inch HDD with optional 64GB SSD for shock and vibration resistance. The display and GDD are shock mounted and have an accelerometer to protect data during drops that could cause harm to the drive.
A 2MP webcam is built-in along with a smart card reader, fingerprint reader, GPS and more. A FlexDock is included that features full input and output connections and a charging bay for batteries. Intel Centrino 2 CPUs are available along with Gobi mobile broadband and integrated Wi-Fi. Pricing is unannounced at this time.
