European Mobile software company Makayama today released the ‘DVD to Mobile (Nokia Edition)’.

This software lets users convert a DVD to a Nokia phone and watch it in full screen landscape mode. A memory card as small as 128 MB is sufficient to store a full length feature film.

The Sofware works on Symbian Series 60-based phones, such as the Nokia 6600, Siemens SX-1 Sendo X.

The free trial version allows users to convert 5 minutes of a DVD. The retail price for the software is $24.99. So who needs those expensive Personal Video Players then?
