OfficeMax and Photofun have announced a new partnership for an on line photo service in the US. The new online photo service will offer the lowest price for 4 x 6 prints in the US at online 5 cents each. OfficeMax is having a special promotion for the rest of March that will let users get 75 free 4 x 6 photos when they sign up from March 15 - 28.

The two companies say that they are able to offer prints at such low prices thanks to web technology behind the service that streamlines the process allowing photos to be uploaded and set to the printing process in real time. OfficeMax will also allow customers to print photo books and other gifts at up to 50% off the current market price.

The service will allow users to get normal prints along with calendars, social cards, day planners, photo wallpaper and more. Images uploaded and printed will arrive within 3 to 7 business days. The service also allows users to upload and store pictures in high-resolutions at no charge. OfficeMax says that the photos are not downsized like other competing services.
