ThinkGeek is offering a new device called the Xtensor Gamer Hand Exerciser that is every bit as geeky and goofy as it sounds. According to the description, the device is designed to condition your hand, making it strong and fit enough to click the buttons on your mouse.
The product promises biomechanical correctness, is able to stimulate muscles and tendons in the hands, wrists, and elbows that other devices were unable to affect. The device claims to be able to help stretch the ligaments and muscles in the hand to help those with hand, wrist, and elbow disorders from griping the mouse for too long.
The idea is to use the device to flex you hands between gaming rounds to make reaction times faster. The device is designed to be fully adjustable to fit nearly every hand and evidentially has actually won awards for medical design excellence. It is available now for $39.99 from ThinkGeek.
