ArcSoft Launches New Blu-ray and HD Media Player

ArcSoft has announced its latest media software for the PC called TotalMedia Theater 3. The software allows users to playback Blu-ray content and other HD media with enhanced features. The new version of the software supports the Xonar HDAV series audio card providing lossless 7.1 channel output.
Also supported are the interactive features of new Blu-ray films, DTS Surround Sensation Ultra PC, MKV, FLV, and HE-AAC audio. Playback directly from camcorders is supported. Using the Xonar HDAV audio card the software allows for DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, and Dolby Digital Plus output.
The software is available now for OEM bundling and can be purchased directly from the ArcSoft website for $89.99. Users of existing ArcSoft TotalMedia software can get an upgrade for $39.99. BD Profile 1.0, Bonus View, and BD-Live are all supported.
