Last month Mitsubishi halted unexpectedly the production of the only available Laser HDTV on the market. Now EngadgetHD reports that Mitsubishi has resumed production of the LaserVue TV.
Now the next thing that needs to happen is for the prices of the LaserVue to come down. The 65 inch LaserVue L65A90 is selling for almost $7,000.
And where is the 73 inch LaserVue that Mitsubishi promised a while ago?
The highlights of the Mitsubishi Laser TV are reproduction of color gamut in excess of 200% of BT.709* (twice that of other HDTVs), 135W power consumption (a third of other HDTVs), 120Hz, x.v. Color, and 1080p.
