I am sure I am not the only one who wonders why Asus needs 6.5 million Eee netbook models. Most of them are basically the same machine and I really wish they would streamline the range. Yet another Eee model has popped up on the Asus website reports Laptop Mag.
The machine is called the Eee 1002H, which sounds much like the 1002HA, minus the A and all. The little machine has an Intel Atom N280 CPU with a 1.66MHz clock speed. The real draw to this model is that it uses the new Asus keyboard.
It used to be that to work with an Eee you had to endure the stupidly placed right shift key. The 1002H has the new chicklet keyboard, that reminds me more than a little of the MacBook keyboard. The right shift key is where it should be, making typing easier. The little rig will come in white, black, and pink with undisclosed pricing and availability at this time.
