Epson has announced a new projector aimed at the classroom that is a follow up to its short throw 400W projector. The new projector is called the PowerLite 410W and features a resolution of 1280 x 800.
The 410W is a short throw projector that can produce a 60-inch image in 16:10 aspect ratio from only two feet away from the wall or screen. The projector can be wall mounted and is perfect for smaller spaces.
Epson uses 3LCD technology in the projector. Other features include an E-TORL lamp that is good for up to 4,000 hours and a built-in speaker. Controlling the projector can be done over the network. Special color modes are offered that allow the projector to be used with whiteboards or blackboards. The 410W is set to launch in April for $1,299.
