Sanyo Short Throw WXGA LCD Projector Unveiled

Sanyo has announced a new short throw projector called the PLC-WXE45 that offers a 16:10 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1280 x 800. The projector is capable of throwing an image 80-inches from only 34-inches from the screen or projection surface.
Other features of the projector include closed captioning, blackboard and color board modes and security features. The projector will work for educational use and in the home or business. The power to the projector is on as soon as it is plugged in with no need to press buttons.
The contrast ratio for the projector is 500:1 and it offers 2000 lumens of light. The maximum image size it can support is 100-inches and the minimum is 50-inches. Inputs include mini D-Sub and RGB or Component with break out cable. The projector is available now for $1,795.
