Apricorn launched its DVR Expander back in January with up to 1.5TB of storage space for your favorite TV shows. The company has now announced a new and updated version of the DVR Expander. The new version is updated visually and has most of the same features.
The device has a stackable design and a hideaway stand allowing it to be placed inside an entertainment center in different orientations. The new DVR Expander has a black and silver design rather than the all silver of the original.
The device is available in 500GB, 1TB, and 1.5TB capacities, offers eSATA, and USB connectivity. Compatibility is with Scientific Atlanta 8300 series DVRs, DirecTV DVRs, and Dish Network's ViP HD DVR. With the high capacity DVR Expander, you can add up to 843 hours of SD programs and 187.5 hours of HD programs.
