I think that all the channels we get on satellite and cable TV services should be offered in HD. Dish Network has announced that it is offering viewers seven new HD stations nationwide. The new stations are from MTV Networks and BET Networks.
Dish says that customers on their HD plans can now get access to BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Spike TV, and VH1 in HD at no additional charge. I have had most of those channels in HD on my DirecTV service for years.
Dish Network says that most of the new channels are available to anyone who subscribes to the Classic Bronze 100 HD and above packages. BET HD is only offered to Classic Silver 200 and up packages.
