I have checked out several LeapFrog educational toys over the years and my kids have lots of them around the house. One of the things my kids like to do most is play games on my iPhone and LeapFrog has announced its first iPhone App is now available.
The App is called Number Rumble and is aimed at users 6 to ten years old. In the game players are able to shake, tap and spin their way to solving math problems using the multi-touch interface of the iPhone. The game latest kids practice for quizzes, challenge friends and sharpen their math skills.
A mode called Learn It lets kids choose an operation from addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division. The number wheels on screen can be spun to create the equation and when the equal sign is tapped the answer is heard. Quiz Time lets kids spin number wheels to create a problem and then shake the iPhone to get a series of possible answers. Random Quiz mode lets kids practice addition, multiplication, subtraction, and division in one quiz. The app is available now for $2.99.
