Dell has introduced a new laptop called the Studio 15 that packs features like HD technology and backlit LED display for battery life into a machine that starts at $649. The machine has a 15.6-inch LED backlit display in HD resolutions of 720p/900p/1080p and can be configured with optional discrete graphics.

The graphics cards available include the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 with 245MB or 512MB of RAM. A 2MP webcam is integrated along with dual digital array microphones. The machine is available in several colors including black chainlink, ruby red, midnight blue, plum purple, spring green, and promise pink.

Wi-Fi is integrated into the machine along with Gigabit Ethernet and optional Bluetooth and wireless internet access. The machine has a memory card reader, dual USB ports, and an eSATA port along with HDMI out. The machine has built-in surround sound with a sub and a Blu-ray player. The keyboard can be backlit as well.
