Mophie has announced that its latest external battery solution for the iPhone 3G, the Mophie juice Pack Air, is now available globally at Apple Stores and Apple.com. The battery pack comes in black, white, and purple and is available for $79.99.

The thin battery pack is the most slender external battery available for the iPhone 3G and has a standby mode that allows users to turn the external battery on or off allowing the juice pack to be used as a case.

The case has four integrated LEDs to show how much power is left in the battery. Standby time for the juice pack is 270 hours, talk time is up to 4.5 hours, Internet use is up to 4.5 hours, and audio playback is up to 20 hours all on a 3G network.
