Late last year Flip debuted its first HD camcorder called the Flip HD. The device had 60 minutes of record time and stored HD video at 720p resolution. Power for the camera came from an internal rechargeable battery, which could be bad if you were not near an outlet to recharge.
Flip has a new version of the camera called the Flip HD Ultra that has been unboxed over at GAX Online. The Ultra doubles the storage space compared to the original with two hours of record time, the battery is now removable, and you can put AA's inside in a pinch.
The 720p resolution seems to be carried over at the same 720p as the original. Another nice addition to the Ultra is HDMI out. The little Ultra HD camcorder reportedly sells for $200 at Best Buy.
