Sharp announces a new DLP based Home Theater projector with a max. resolution of 1280x720.
The Sharp XV-Z2000 uses DLP technology that is more and more overtaking LCD based projectors. The XV-Z2000 uses Sharp DMD technology to achieve the higher resolution and a 2500:1 contrast ratio.
The Sharp XV-Z2000 goes on sale on December 10th for 522,900 yen (~5000 USD).
