Videos service Hulu continues to build up its strength. Hulu is already in the top 3 video services, now the WSJ reports that Disney buys a 30% stake in Hulu.
Hulu is a joint venture of NBC and News Corp. Now Disney joins the two and will invest in similar fashion as NBC and News Corp.
Additionally Disney will publish full ABC TV shows on the Hulu site.
I wonder if we ever will have a future where the whole world can access Hulu. The service is still restricted to be accessed from Europe and other regions. I applaud Comedy Central's The Daily Show as you can watch full episodes from anywhere on their site - that is how you do it, Damn you copyright and licensing m mess.
