We have talked about the slim MSI X-Slim series netbooks and notebooks before. We first caught a glimpse of the machines at CES in January and the X320 and X340 notebooks were covered back in early April. MSI is reportedly ready to debut a couple of larger X-Slim machines with a 16-inch X600 and 14-inch X400 coming soon.
The 14-inch and 16-inch versions will presumably run the Intel CULV hardware that the X340 takes advantage of, but that isn’t confirmed. The machines will reportedly come in black, white, and silver colors.
Hard specifications on the new models are unavailable but expect them to be thin and light. The X340 was under 2cm thick and weighed 1.3kg making it a very portable machine. The X-Slim line are very thin and cool looking machines that should come in at a price low enough to give the MacBook Air heartburn.
