A T-Mobile release schedule for their new line of Android smartphones is making the rounds all across the Internet today. The schedule lists several new devices, including the G2 and the Samsung Houdini.
The T-Mobile HTC G2 is scheduled to come out this summer, which means we should be seeing some more concrete data and pricing for the new phone before the end of the year. Something called the G1 v.2, codenamed 'Bigfoot', is set to come out in the fall. This is the first we're hearing of this next-generation G1, but it's exciting to hear that the full keyboard lovers among us won't be left out to dry once our G1s become obsolete.
The schedule also lists price plans for the various phones on T-Mobile's line up. The G1 will be going to $140, and the G2 for $179. Hopefully these prices remain fixed. One of the nice things about being a G1 owner is getting iPhone power at half the price. More information on the next line of Gphones should be coming out over the next few days, and I expect we'll be seeing mock-ups and feature lists for the G1 V2 by mid-summer.
