AT&T subscribers that have been waiting for the Curve 8900 to hit the network don’t have to wait anymore, for the announcement anyway. The Curve 8900 will hit the AT&T network early this summer according to the wireless provider with new features and better performance.
The handset will include GPS and Wi-Fi along with a next generation processor providing multimedia capability. The 8900 is the thinnest QWERTY Blackberry available with a high-resolution 480 x 360 pixel screen.
The handset gets a 3.2MP camera with auto focus and image stabilization. Memory expansion is via microSD/SDHC cards allowing users to carry more music on the go. An unlimited data plan purchase also gets users free AT&T Wi-Fi access. Pricing and an exact launch date are unknown at this time.
