Music games are huge right now with the announcement this week of special The Beatles guitar controllers for Rock Band. A new guitar controller called the You Rock Guitar is set to debut at E3 running from June 2 to June 4 2009.

The guitar has a design that eliminates the need to tune or restring a guitar and can connect to an amplifier for jam sessions or headphones for private play. The guitar will also plug into an iPod, cell phone, or stereo receiver.

The patented neck design feels like strings and frets and the maker says it is perfect for MIDI studios. The guitar also has optional plug-in cartridge system that allows the guitar to be compatible with multiple game consoles including the PS3, Xbox, and Wii. The guitar will sell for $149.99 and the Gameflex cartridges will sell for $19.99 to $24.99 each. Shipping is set for this summer.
