Good news for you budget mobile service fans. AT&T just announced the creation of a new prepaid calling option that comes with unlimited nationwide calls for $3 a day. This option will be available on May 11th throughout the country.
This is a fairly impressive deal for a pay-as-you-go mobile phone option. No charges when you don't call, and just three bucks a day for nationwide coverage. If you're one of those people that doesn't love bleeding-edge smartphones or doesn't want the extra expense of an actual cell phone plan, this seems like a pretty good deal.
Personally, I could definitely see the use of taking an option like this on an emergency phone, in case you lose your normal cell, or something else awful happens. Pair this with an E52 and keep it charged under your front seat. You'll be ready for anything, as long as 'anything' doesn't require more than a wafer-thin cell phone to deal with.
