Windows 7 coming in Time for Holidays says Microsoft

Microsoft for the first time gave a time frame for the Windows 7 release.
According to Reuters Bill Veghte, Senior VP of Microsoft's Windows Business said that "Windows 7 is tracking well for holiday availability."
As reported the Windows 7 RC 1 has been available since last week and things already look rather stable.
Microsoft has left the Windows 7 release date very vague. Sometimes even indicating that the release could be in 2010.
Windows 7 will be a huge driver for a very big Holiday shopping season for computer makers this fall. So lets hope Microsoft makes the deadline.
