E3 News Coverage

Earlier this month, Capcom released a list of the titles they would be bringing to E3 2009. On the list were two unnamed games to be revealed during the show. Apparently, though, someone at Capcom isn't very good at keeping secrets. In an issue of Nintendo Power, Capcom just revealed the identity of one of their secret games.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom (for the Wii) will be yet another Capcom crossover fighting game, like the Marvel vs Capcom series. This one will contain all of your old favorite Capcom characters (except for Zangief, what the hell, Capcom?) fighting against characters created by Tatsunoku Productions, a Japanese animation company. This game is out in Japan, so there's an incredibly detailed Wikipedia entry for it already.

On the Wiki, you can see the character list for this new fighting game. It looks like a pretty interesting line-up of characters, even though a good half of them are from Japanese games or media that most of us have never been exposed to. This is a Capcom fighting game, and that's really all we need to know. They've been in the business a long time, and if they know how to do one thing it's make an entertaining brawler.

Capcom's also got a bunch of other games being shown at E3 this year. Dark Void, Lost Planet 2, Dead Rising 2 (private), Spyborgs, Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Fate Unlimited Codes, Street Fighter IV, Bionic Commando, Mega Man Star Force 3, and Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil. We'll bring you more information on all of these games as soon as Capcom lets them see the light of day.
