Last November the rumor about Microsoft rebranding the Live Search to Kumo have appeared the first time. Now Microsoft is apparently ready to show the new Kumo Search.
Microsoft is said to debut Kumo Search at the D: All Things Digital conference next week.
Kumo could still be just a codename and not actually an end user brand. Update: The new Microsoft Search could be called Bing according to SearchEngineLand.
How Microsoft plans to yet again attack Google is unknown. Maybe Microsoft plans to pay you a $1,000 fee to change your habits and use Microsoft Search instead of Google. Microsoft would have you install a URL blocker to make sure you really stop using Google.
I do not have any other idea that would make users stop using Google in favor of another search engine.
