Toshiba unveiled the ultra-thin (9.9mm) TG01 Windows Smartphone in February. Today DoCoMo and Telefonica announced plans to offer the Toshiba TG01 in Japan and Spain respectively starting in June.

DOCOMO will sell the handset in Japan as the docomo PRO series T-01A and Telefonica will sell it in Spain as the TG01.
DoCoMo and Telefonica are now considering various other initiatives to mutually strengthen corporate competitiveness and customer satisfaction in their respective markets, including a joint study of possible services and applications for open OS handsets.
The Toshiba TG01 uses the new Qualcomm's 1GHz Snapdragon chipset. Features of the TG01 include big 4.1" WVGA (800x480px) touchscreen, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, custom 3D user interface, GPS receiver, WiFi, HSDPA, microSD slot, and motion sensor.
