Corsair has announced a new high-performance liquid cooling system called the H50 for PCs. The system debuted at Computex yesterday and was built in conjunction with ASEtec. The system promises to be easy to install with a closed system that is pre-filled with coolant.

According to Corsair, the H50 cools CPUs 30% more efficiently than stock CPU coolers are capable of. The system includes a copper plate that sits on the CPU, a 120mm radiator and a high-efficiency and low-noise fan.

Corsair claims that in lab testing the system provided significant cooling improvements over traditional fans on an Intel Corei7 965 processor. At 100% load on the CPU a stock cooling fan kept the CPU at 79.85C and the H50 was able to keep the CPU at 55.85C. The H50 will work for both Intel and AMD processors. Pricing and availability are unknown at this time.
