Toshiba has announced the launch of a new netbook called the mini NB205. The netbook is described as a lightweight companion PC for staying connected and productive on the go. The machine has a full-size keyboard and a large touch pad.
Toshiba says the machine has nine hours of battery life and a stylized textured finish in a choice of colors. The NB205 is Toshiba's first netbook. The machine runs Windows XP and has a 10.1-inch screen that is LED backlit.
The little rig will come in two configurations with the NB205-N310 available in a textured finish in sable brown, frost white, indigo blue, and posh pink. The NB205-N210 comes in fusion finish in black onyx only. The little rig runs the Aton N280 CPU and has 160GB HDD, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 1GB of RAM. The N310 config will sell for $399 and the N210 config goes for $349 with both launching in late June.
